Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of millions? We’re seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Masks Systems Engineering team from a base of Sydney or Singapore. This is your opportunity to lead with technical expertise, drive innovation, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Our team supports the entire lifecycle of ResMed’s mask products—from concept development (PD) through to Product Lifecycle Engineering (PLE). About the Role

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will:

  • Lead cross-functional systems engineering efforts across product development and lifecycle management.
  • Develop and manage high-quality requirements and specifications for mask products.
  • Collaborate with teams in engineering, regulatory, quality, and product management to deliver best-in-class solutions.
  • Drive innovation by integrating customer needs, compliance requirements, and technical strategies.
  • Take ownership through stakeholder management, technical leadership, and mentoring team members.

Your role will focus on mask development while leveraging an understanding of ResMed’s broader device ecosystem to deliver impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end systems engineering activities, from concept to post-launch.
  • Conduct risk assessments, define mitigation plans, and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 13485, ISO 14971).
  • Provide ongoing product support, focusing on quality improvements and regulatory compliance.
  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering continuous improvement and collaboration.

Key Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in systems engineering or product development, ideally within medical devices or regulated environments.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, including requirements development and validation.
  • Experience with risk management and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in technical documentation, systems modeling, and data analysis.
