Job Description

You will Designs, troubleshoots software programmer for software enhancements and new products. Develop software tools including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determine hardware compatibility or influence hardware design.

You will report to Engineering manager and follow a Hybrid working schedule in Singapore.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will require a good background in communication protocol firmware development and real-time control systems.
  • You will help design embedded software subsystems. These subsystems will increase and balance a variety of goals. The goals include run-time performance, memory requirements, simplicity, correctness, development time, effort, reusability, extendibility, reliability, and safety.
  • You will need to maximise the reuse of existing internal or external software components to shorten the product development cycle.
  • You will Have knowledge in Industrial Automation, PLC Programming
  • You will Have Experience programming 32 bits Microcontroller (ARM) and developing low-level device driver.
  • Industrial Communication Protocol: CIP, or EtherNet/IP

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Degree / master's in computer science/ Embedded Systems / Computer Engineering / Electrical Electronic Engineering with concentration in Embedded Software engineering
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience developing Real-time Embedded Systems.
  • Knowledge in programming language: C, C++
  • You have certification in CERT Secure Coding in C and C++

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • You have Experience using different hardware-assisted debugging tools
  • You have Experience of Agile process, static analysis tool and version control tools (e.g. ClearCase, Rational Team Concert) will be an advantage
  • Open-minded, a willingness to experiment within acceptable boundaries.
