Job Responsibilities :

This role drives the research & development activities in the electrical/electronics domain of advanced gaming peripheral products.

The job responsibilities span across various critical areas which includes the following:

Research & Development:

·        Drive innovation and development in the electrical and electronics domain.

·        Develop and test prototypes of advanced electronics products.

Project Management:

·        Plan and coordinate activities from conceptualization to mass production.

·        Oversee timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects meet targets.

·        Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Vendor and Partner Coordination:

·        Liaise with key component vendors, development partners, and contract manufacturers.

·        Manage relationships to ensure quality and timely deliverables.

·        Coordinate supply chain logistics and resolve any supply issues of key components

Documentation & Reporting:

·        Maintain comprehensive records of development processes and technical documentation.

·        Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders and management.

·        Ensure clear communication of project status and technical details.

Quality Assurance & Testing:

·        Define and implement rigorous testing procedures to ensure product reliability and performance.

·        Conduct failure analysis and troubleshoot issues that arise in the development process.

·        Collaborate with quality assurance teams to meet product standards.

Team Collaboration:

·        Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, production, and marketing.

·        Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Pre-Requisites :Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Master/Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in designing of electronic hardware circuits and system.
  • Experience in using EE CAD/CAE tools (e.g. ORCAD, PADS, PSPICE) for product development and simulations.
  • Experience in EMC/EMI design and countermeasures.
  • Experience in fast-paced consumer electronics development environment is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge and actual working experience in the following areas:
  • Computer peripheral or consumer electronics product design
  • Embedded microcontroller platforms
  • Wired/Wireless connectivity technologies (eg. USB, BT, WIFI)
