Job Description Summary

This position resides in the Global Think Tank and reports directly to the Head of International Insights. The Senior Analyst (Capital Markets) position is responsible for generating thought leadership, market analysis, and research services focused on investor trends and capital markets across EMEA and Asia Pacific. The role will serve as a strategic partner to the International Insights team and act as a key point of contact for business development and client-facing initiatives in the region. This position contributes to client pitches, presentations, and investor advisory, and shapes the firm’s market intelligence and international HouseView.

Job Description

  • ​Lead economic, capital markets, and investor-focused analysis across all CRE sectors in EMEA and APAC to support research initiatives and business development strategies.

  • Serve as primary point of contact for international investor insights across regional research leaders, local market leaders, service line heads, and strategic account teams.

  • Prepare investor-focused, client-facing materials and participate in client pitches, presentations, and advisory meetings internationally.

  • Collaborate with Global Think Tank, capital markets, and local teams to produce deliverables that strengthen client relationships, drive new business, and enhance market share.

  • Advise internal and external clients on capital markets, investor trends, and economic factors that may influence strategy, profitability, and investment decisions.

  • Shape and contribute to firm thought leadership, newsletters, and investor-focused HouseView publications across sectors.

  • Represent the firm at industry events and media in EMEA and APAC, enhancing C&W’s visibility in capital markets.

  • Work with the team to develop and maintain analytical tools, databases, and systems to support comprehensive investor and capital markets coverage.

About You:

  • Master’s degree or Ph. D in economics (or economist by way of training)

  • Strong verbal and written communication; polished and client-ready.

  • Experience analyzing data sets and translating into sector insights

  • Intellectual curiosity and high-level analytical skills.

  • Adaptability and resourcefulness in a fast-paced, multi-market environment.

  • Relationship-building with clients, internal stakeholders, and industry participants.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality outputs.

  • Initiative and accountability to deliver results beyond expectations.
