In this role, you will:
- Responsible for conducting first level quality control on customer due diligence files.
- Ensuring that all customer due diligence is completed in accordance with applicable requirements and adheres to the documented policies and procedures.
- Collaborate and partner with the KYC Maker to ensure findings are addressed adequately per KYC Policy and procedures
- Review and analyse ongoing due diligence processes and challenges that require research, investigation, evaluation, and selection of alternatives
- Provide subject matter expertise on documentation and data sources and exercise independent judgment to guide moderate to high-risk deliverables
- Compile and evaluate report results and escalate when necessary to leadership.
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead team to meet functional area process deliverables
- Leverage solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, managers and internal and external customers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
- Conduct trend analysis on common findings and team training where required.
- Provide training to analysts on enterprise and jurisdictional CDD requirements
- Report QC statistics and trends to management
- Liaise with policy team and financial crimes management team on requirement updates
- Assist manager with any ad-hoc audit/testing/regulatory requests
- 4+ years of Due Diligence experience, or equivalent (including risk management, client service, operations support, or business process management) demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience in Due Diligence, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience in the Quality control process or a experience in Customer onboarding or Customer ongoing due diligence.
- Strong Stakeholder Management skills required.
- Proficient in Excel and MI reporting is desired
