Summary

We are looking for a highly capable and future-ready Senior Designer to join Scoot's Brand Studio.
The role combines strong design fundamentals with an openness to innovation and emerging technologies. Working across a wide range of brand, commercial and operational projects, the Designer will create, adapt and optimise creative assets while ensuring consistency with Scoot's visual identity.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong visual judgment, attention to detail and a passion for delivering effective design solutions. Beyond design execution, the role plays an important part in safeguarding Scoot's brand standards, improving creative workflows and leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance productivity and creative quality.

Job Description

Our ideal candidate is a versatile designer with strong foundations in visual communication, typography and digital design.

Equally comfortable working independently or with agency partners, the incumbent understands how design contributes to business and communication objectives and can translate creative concepts into compelling, effective deliverables across a variety of channels.

Responsibilities

Creative adaptation and production

  • Developing and adapting creative assets across digital, social, CRM, web, OOH, airport and onboard touchpoints.

  • Translating master campaign concepts into market-ready executions while maintaining creative integrity.

  • Designing assets that are fit for purpose, audience-centric and channel appropriate.

  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Brand stewardship

  • Acting as a guardian of Scoot's visual identity across all creative outputs.

  • Ensuring all assets adhere to established brand guidelines and design standards.

  • Reviewing and providing feedback on partner and agency-produced materials where required.

  • Identifying opportunities to strengthen visual consistency and brand impact.

AI-enabled design and innovation

  • Leveraging AI-powered creative tools to improve productivity, quality and speed of delivery.

  • Applying emerging technologies to support concept visualisation, image generation, localisation and production workflows.

  • Continuously exploring new tools, trends and working methods that improve design effectiveness.

  • Contributing to the development of scalable and efficient creative workflows.

Creative quality and design thinking

  • Applying strong design principles including hierarchy, composition, typography and storytelling.

  • Challenging briefs and solutions where improvements can be made to clarity, usability or effectiveness.

  • Recommending more impactful approaches rather than simply executing requests.

  • - Staying current with evolving design, digital and content trends.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Advertising, Multimedia Design or a related discipline preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in graphic design, visual communications or creative production.

  • Experience working in an agency, brand or in-house creative environment.

  • Demonstrated portfolio showcasing strong digital and integrated marketing work.

  • Experience developing assets across multiple channels including digital, social, CRM and print.

  • Experience working within established brand systems and visual identity frameworks.

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools and workflows.
