About the Opportunity

We are the hosting backend platform of OKX, providing backend systems for customer service, compliance ops, and other departments. Our team aims to provide a secure platform for internal employees' daily operations, and to drive efficiency & quality with innovative solutions.

 

As a Senior Product Manager specializing in data, you will dive deep into the data requirements of business stakeholders, and work closely with developers & data engineers to build data products. You will take ownership of data product roadmap, ensuring that the data products you build provide accurate and insightful results for stakeholders from various departments and levels.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:
 

  1. Product Planning and Design

  • Strategic Participation: Collaborate with the team lead to assess the gaps in data capabilities, the long-term solutions and practical short-term workarounds.

  • Roadmap Planning: Define data product roadmaps and priorities, with deep understanding of business needs

  • Product Design: Design data products including metric definition, product UI and data mart design.

  1. Strategy Execution

  • Drive execution of data product strategies. Breakdown modules, features, iteration phases for fast turnaround and work split.

  • Design and carry out rollout plans

  • Drive product adoption by working closely with business users for feedbacks

  1. Continuous Optimization & Stakeholder Management

  • Work with stakeholders from various departments and levels, to collect data requirements and painpoints

  • Actively identify room for optimization, such as data discrepancy, analysis dimension change, etc.

  • Adjust product pipeline based on stakeholder feedback

  1. Insight Analysis for Business Improvement

  • Work closely with BI/Data Analysts to develop insights for business or product improvement

  • Act as a partner to business - collectively discover and discuss insights found and corresponding action plans.

  • Identify painpoints in insights mining. Use data products to address the pain points.

What We Look For In You:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Security, Product Management, or related fields.

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with 3+ years in data product or analytics fields.

  • Prior experience in cryptocurrency, fintech, operations efficiency, or customer service will be a plus

  • Familiarity with data warehouse/data mart designs

  • Proficient in SQL and Excel

  • Data product design skills, with the ability to build scalable data marts and data dashboards

  • Excellent cross-team communication skills, capable of coordinating multiple teams to drive complex projects to completion.

  • Proactive in seeking stakeholder alignment, willing to take ownership and go the extra mile.

  • Passionate about building data capabilities to help the organization to find optimization opportunities

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
