求人内容Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cost Manager / Senior Cost Manager to join our growing Sports and Venues team. The successful candidate will independently deliver feasibility studies, order of cost estimates, and detailed cost plans throughout all project phases. The role requires strong technical cost management skills, advanced CostX capability, and the ability to manage and mentor small teams while ensuring high-quality deliverables are completed on time and in accordance with NRM standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver feasibility studies, benchmark estimates and order of cost estimates.
- Develop and maintain detailed cost plans through concept, schematic, design development and construction documentation phases.
- Undertake quantity take-offs and measurement using CostX.
- Prepare cost reports, cost reconciliations, value engineering assessments and risk analyses.
- Monitor design development against approved budgets and report cost movements.
- Manage tendering processes, tender evaluations and procurement support activities.
- Lead project cost management commissions with minimal supervision.
- Manage and mentor small teams to ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Review work completed by junior team members and provide technical guidance.
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying.
- Proven experience delivering feasibility studies, order of cost estimates and detailed cost plans.
- Advanced proficiency in CostX measurement and estimating.
- Strong knowledge of RICS NRM standards and industry best practice.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience leading and coordinating small project teams.
- Excellent analytical, communication and report-writing skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong commercial awareness.
Preferred Qualifications
- MRICS qualified or working towards chartership.
- Experience across sports, leisure, hospitality or residential sectors.
- Experience working on large-scale or complex developments.
