To ensure all safety aspects are properly managed, including all legal aspects as per IMDG Code and Solas.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain close communication with QSC and Area offices in all DG matters.
Ensure IMDG, CFR49, SOLAS and in-house rules and regulations are complied.
Responsible for DG securities, inspection and procedures as per JWP.
Provide guidance to Areas pertaining to DG issues on daily basis.
Clarify all DG related questions within the team.
Handle special or sensitive DG shipments.
Respond to inquiry and assist to Cargo Patrol hits.
Prepare DG summaries with stowage requirements for planners, clarify stowage/segregation queries from vessels.
Perform 4-eye Check to DG stowage plans and take over responsibility for correctness.
Perform weekend duty.
Support DG workshop for RAS Areas.
Adhoc:
- Involvement in pilot projects whenever necessary.

Knowledge Centre Validators, Ship Planners, Cargo Operations, QSC/Areas (CS) and Consortium partners
Diploma in Marine Studies or at least 5 years’ experience in handling DG matters.
Sound IMDG Code knowledge, basic knowledge of related Regulations.
Fluent in Business English, both written and oral.
Proficient in MS Office
