AIG’s Marketing & Communications team actively develops and promotes the company narrative to key external and internal audiences and stakeholders. Working across businesses, functions and regions, the team builds, protects and defends AIG’s brand and reputation, and promotes efforts to achieve business goals and growth targets.
How you will create an impact
The purpose of the Creative Content Manager role is to support the business with internal and external messaging and content creation that drives employee, broker, agent and customer engagement in our brand.
Reporting to the APAC Head of Marketing & Communications, this is a hands-on role that focuses on internal and external marketing and communications planning and execution across APAC. The Creative Content Manager works with regional and local team members to deliver leadership impact, drive business marketing solutions and activate AIG corporate initiatives regionally in support of AIG APAC’s business strategy. Additionally, act as a trusted advisor and support for strategy and execution for AIG Hong Kong and Taiwan.
- Help deliver the regional communications plan, by supporting the APAC Regional President and ELT with leadership messages and business announcements, ensuring all communications align with global messaging and tone of voice.
- Manage the APAC pages on the global intranet, including content creation, leadership messaging, ensuring alignment with the global internal communications strategy.
- Support the APAC Head of Marketing & Communications in the development of narrative/key messages that best position AIG with key stakeholders.
- Support the CEO of AIG Hong Kong and AIG Taiwan with communications strategy and execute leadership communications.
- Act as the ‘internal journalist’ and identify, write and publish APAC stories on the global intranet.
- Create PowerPoint presentations for the APAC Leadership Team meeting.
- Content support for APAC-wide campaigns including refining key messaging and creating campaign assets including videos, posters, emails.
- Support APAC President and Head of Distributions to promote and position AIG initiatives externally e.g. via LinkedIn, within social media and external communications guidelines.
- Draft advertorial that supports APAC business objectives for targeted publications.
- Ensure consistent AIG brand identity in APAC by supporting the development of regional guidelines and templates for product documentation and events.
- Develop content for workplace digital screens to support employee engagement.
- Serve as an effective team member within the APAC regional Marketing and Communications team, including being a partner and advisor for country team members.
- Ensure local and regional alignment with global marketing and communication initiatives and strategy.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in communications or a related discipline.
- Excellent business writing skills, including drafting, editing and proof reading, coupled with a passion for storytelling and creative communications.
- Experience in visual communications including video production and graphic design.
- Strong planning skills with a demonstrated understanding of the need to align locally, regionally and globally.
- Superior emotional intelligence and excellent judgement.
- Ability to establish strong business relationships with internal partners across the business and with regional and global team members in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritise and synthesise data.
- Strong collaborator with solid negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to produce high quality, high volume deliverables in a dynamic environment that align with regional and global strategies.
