Job Description

Join our dynamic team and contribute your expertise to drive the successful implementation of SAP FICO solutions within our organization. As an SAP FICO Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our financial processes and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) Consultant to join our team. As an SAP FICO Consultant, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive SAP functional expertise in the areas of finance and controlling. Your primary goal will be to analyze business requirements, design solutions, configure SAP systems, and ensure smooth implementation and integration of SAP FICO modules within our organization.

 Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes and requirements related to finance and controlling and translate them into functional specifications.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their needs and provide expert advice on SAP FICO functionalities and best practices.

  • Design and configure SAP FICO modules including General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders and WBS elements.

  • Conduct system testing, create test scenarios, and support end-to-end testing to ensure the integrity and accuracy of SAP FICO functionalities.

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs and materials to educate end-users on SAP FICO processes and functionalities.

  • Provide post-implementation support, resolve issues, and ensure smooth operation of SAP FICO modules.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP FICO with other SAP modules or third-party applications.

  • Stay up-to-date with SAP FICO best practices, industry trends, and advancements in SAP technology to propose and implement innovative solutions.

  • Participate in project planning and estimation, and contribute to the overall success of SAP implementation projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications in SAP FICO are highly desirable.

  • Proven experience as an SAP FICO Consultant with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting SAP FICO modules.

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO functionalities, including configuration, integration, and customization options.

  • Strong understanding of financial accounting and controlling principles and processes.

  • Proficiency in SAP FICO sub-modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders and WBS elements.

  • Experience in conducting business process analysis and requirements gathering.

  • Ability to design and configure SAP FICO solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex issues to propose effective solutions.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Proficient in banking integration, Host to Host connections with banks, understanding of BCM and APM & basic understanding of Contract accounting module is an advantage.
