Lead design of cloud-native architectures, conduct architecture reviews, build and deploy applications, and manage AWS services while ensuring compliance and best practices.
- Lead the design of cloud-native architectures for complex, large-scale enterprise and digital-native workloads.
- Define reference architectures, reusable patterns, and best practices for multitier, microservices, and serverless applications.
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide recommendations for scalability, resilience, performance, and cost optimization.
- Partner with business stakeholders, solution architects, and engineering teams to align architectures with organizational goals and compliance standards.
- Building and deploying cloud-native applications using Java with the Spring Boot framework and related technologies.
- Architecting and implementing GitLab CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable delivery.
- Provisioning and managing AWS services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, and ELB.
- Automating infrastructure provisioning with Infrastructure-as-Code (CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues across applications and infrastructure in both production and non-production environments.
- Work with CloudOps, DBA, Security, and application teams to deliver compliant and cost-optimized solutions.
- Support the CCoE in driving adoption of best practices and reusable frameworks across projects.
- Contribute to technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering roles.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS core services (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, ELB, VPC, IAM).
- Proficiency in Java with expertise in the Spring Boot framework.
- Solid understanding of container-based deployments, orchestration, and lifecycle management.
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Proven ability to design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure architectures.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD and automation frameworks (GitLab, CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Working knowledge of cloud security, IAM, and encryption practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and performance tuning skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage executives, architects, and developers.
