Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and influential Senior Client Lead to drive revenue growth for our Audience Measurement portfolio in Singapore. This senior commercial role is responsible for owning the end-to-end sales cycle and deepening our penetration across Singapore’s dynamic media and advertising landscape. As a senior individual contributor, you will carry a personal sales quota, lead high-stakes client engagements, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic value to our clients. Your success will be defined by your ability to grow key accounts, win new business, and strengthen Nielsen’s position as the partner of choice for Audience Measurement in Singapore. 
 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Driving Growth & Strategy

As a senior member of the Enterprise Growth Team, you will be instrumental in driving the execution of the commercial strategy to expand our footprint and achieve key revenue goals

  • Strategic Sales Planning: Take full ownership of developing and executing the annual sales plan for your market segment , ensuring its alignment with broader regional goals while identifying and pursuing key growth opportunities.

  • Revenue & Target Accountability: Be responsible for a significant revenue portfolio, driving achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets through strong account ownership, pipeline discipline, and commercial execution. 

  • Go-to-Market Execution: Partner closely with Marketing to execute the go-to-market strategy, ensuring campaigns generate a strong pipeline of qualified leads.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong alignment with Product, Operations, and other business units to deliver synergistic and high-value client solutions.

  • High-Stakes Deal Support: Manage and lead negotiations for high-value, complex enterprise deals, acting as the senior commercial lead for priority opportunities.

  • Commercial Strategy & Market Feedback: Act as a key strategic partner to the central commercial and product teams, providing critical market intelligence and frontline feedback to help shape competitive positioning and pricing. You will then be responsible for the effective execution of these strategies across the relevant commercial ecosystem 

  • Long-Term Client Value: Develop and implement mid-to-long-range strategies that deepen client relationships and proactively address evolving industry requirements.

  • Commercial Product Launch: Contribute to and support the commercial launch strategy for new products, ensuring market readiness and successful team execution.

  • Market Intelligence & Strategic Pivots: Translate critical market intelligence and emerging industry trends into actionable tactics and team coaching.

  • Business Innovation: Actively contribute to a culture of commercial innovation across the business. 

Client Engagement

You will be responsible for building and managing key client partnerships that drive strategic value and secure long-term loyalty.

  • Senior Relationship Ownership: Forge and own strategic relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers at priority client accounts and influential industry bodies.

  • Strategic Counsel & Thought Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor and a senior representative of Nielsen, articulating a powerful and unified value proposition that addresses clients' business challenges.

  • Influencing Product & Service Evolution: Act as a key stakeholder for Product and Operations, channeling strategic client feedback to help influence the product roadmap and shape future service delivery models.

  • Global Portfolio Strategy: Drive strategic alignment with regional and global leadership to ensure the local market portfolio is optimized to meet immediate and future client demands.

  • Strategic Client Intelligence: Leverage deep client and market intelligence to steer account strategy, uncover growth opportunities, and proactively mitigate churn risk.

Qualifications

  • Proven Sales Leadership: A minimum of 8-12 years of experience within the Digital Media, AdTech, Agency and Advertiser landscape

  • Regional Expertise: An established and extensive professional network across Southeast Asia (SEA). You must have proven experience navigating the regional media ecosystem and managing key relationships from a Singapore-based hub. 

  • Revenue Growth & Accountability: A demonstrable track record of owning a significant revenue portfolio and consistently delivering against multi-million dollar targets in a competitive, high-growth environment.

  • Strategic Industry Acumen: Deep strategic command of the digital advertising and media measurement landscape. Prior experience with audience measurement solutions is highly advantageous.

Competencies & Skills

  • Senior Communication & Influence: Exceptional ability to articulate complex value propositions and build consensus with senior-level clients and internal stakeholders across the APAC region. Fluency in English is required.

  • Strategic Execution & Planning: Proven ability to contribute to and execute the annual commercial plan, translating business objectives into clear, actionable commercial plans.

  • Senior Client Relationship Management: A natural talent for building and nurturing deep, trust-based relationships with senior decision-makers at key agencies, advertisers, and industry partners throughout SEA. 

  • Data-Driven Sales Management: Strategic proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) to drive accurate forecasting, maintain pipeline visibility, and derive actionable insights for business growth. 

  • High-Stakes Negotiation: Mastery of complex commercial negotiations, with a proven ability to structure and close large, multi-faceted enterprise deals.

  • Inspirational Leadership: A highly credible and commercially astute sales leader with a strong track record of influencing senior stakeholders, leading strategic deals, and delivering growth in complex market environments.
