The WorkWave Team is looking for an innovative Senior Business Analyst who wants to be part of a team of creative and talented individuals. Our teams are a mix of technologists, product managers, development engineers, and UI/UX designers, all working together to deliver our vision. You will be a part of our WorkWave team, helping to develop & support the WorkWave products, and will need to take ownership of the following responsibilities
Acquire a deep understanding of the product, its business domain, key business processes, and value proposition.
Develop and enhance Business Process Models to analyze core business functions, verticals, and identify areas for optimization and innovation.
Lead the Elicitation, Analysis, Synthesis, Documentation, and Validation of new requirements.
Produce detailed UML artifacts—such as Use Case, Activity Diagrams—to capture the intricacies of business processes, visualize data flows, mitigate potential risks, and document external system interactions prior to story development.
Monitor activity on work item tickets and maintain knowledge-base articles with detailed technical and functional documentation, ensuring knowledge continuity.
Champion agile practices and lead Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and requirement walkthroughs.
Compose User Stories and Defects adhering to the standards of the assigned product team, including all notes, related aspects, API specification, validations, and edge cases relevant for the Engineering team.
Validate User Stories by collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, Engineering Managers, and Tech Leads while aligning with existing & new required capabilities of the current business systems and their dependencies.
Groom User Stories with distributed teams across time zones while proactively addressing Engineering concerns/clarifications.
Collaborate with Engineering teams and actively make key product decisions and clarifications that align with the business goals and the product team's vision.
Assist with product roadmap planning and contribute roadmap items with sound business value based on domain knowledge and understanding of customer expectations.
Coordinate release planning and prioritization, monitor release feasibility, and liaise with stakeholders and Engineering teams accordingly.
Maintain go-to-market and L&D documentation by collaborating with key product stakeholders of the organization, and perform product or feature demonstrations when necessary.
- 5+ years hands-on experience working in a Field Service Management (FSM) related industry or similar domain, along with thorough knowledge of working with different Enterprise Business Applications.
- An academic background with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business or Information Technology.
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, colleagues, customers and partners.
- Strong problem-solving ability, analytical skills and strategic thinking.
- The ability to efficiently engage with key stakeholders while contributing to activities related to product/solution management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and within a Global team setting.
- Proficiency in English.
- Experience with design, project management, and productivity software is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Mobile Technologies is a strong plus.
- Experience in Business Process Mapping is a strong advantage.
