The Senior Bid Manager is responsible for providing strategic and tactical support to CRE sales teams across Asia Pacific to win new business, retain key clients, and expand existing client relationships. The role partners closely with business leaders, sales directors, and regional bid teams to develop winning pursuit strategies, manage high-value RFPs and pitch processes, create compelling proposals and presentations, and coach teams for client presentations. The position also supports the development of a regional bid “Centre of Excellence” by driving best practices, improving pitch processes, maintaining market and client intelligence, contributing to knowledge management, and fostering innovation in business development tools and communications, while ensuring Cushman & Wakefield’s value proposition is clearly differentiated in the market.Job Description
Summary
- Provide strategic and tactical support to the CRE Sales efforts for new business, renewals and strategically important clients
- To support the Head of Bids in establishing a ‘Centre of Excellence’ for CRE pursuit activity in region by helping win new opportunities and retaining existing business, sharing best practices in bids and develop new, innovative, and impactful ways of creating proposals and presentations.
- The role will work closely with the Business leadership teams to support expanding share of wallet with current clients, winning new business opportunities and elevating the reputation of Cushman & Wakefield across the tenant landscape.
- It will work across key markets in Asia Pacific, link in closely with the European and Americas bid teams as well as the regional Practice Groups. This individual will be expected to learn and be well-versed with key real estate trends across all major markets in Asia and should have a strong proven track record of successfully project managing high value pitches from initial engagement, the RFP and on to final presentation stage.
About the Job:
- Provide well researched strategic and tactical advice to the Sales lead director to form a pitch strategy.
- Test and challenge assumptions to help refine and communicate C&W's value proposition and differentiate from our main competitors.
- Manage the creation of impactful proposals and presentations. This include creating a persuasive structure, writing content, reviewing/editing content, managing designers / external suppliers and pitch rehearsals.
- Conduct face to face and video conference (where appropriate) pitch presentation coaching.
- Actively contribute to the Knowledge Management platform by harvesting any new information and client specific data.
- Guide, support and review bid activity associated with GOS clients in different markets around the region and share best practices
- Work with the Business Analyst and Sales Director/s to gather and maintain intelligence on the CRE prospects, clients
- Performs other related duties as required or requested.
About you:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Real Estate, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in bid management, proposal development, sales enablement, or business development support.
- Proven experience managing complex RFPs, proposals, and client presentations from inception through submission and presentation.
- Strong project management, stakeholder management, writing, and presentation skills with the ability to craft compelling value propositions.
- Experience within Corporate Real Estate, Facilities Management, Professional Services, or a B2B solutions environment is highly advantageous.
