DP Architects Pte Ltd JOB SUMMARY:The Senior Associate / Senior Architect (Rail) leads architectural design and project delivery for rail and transit-related developments, including MRT/LRT stations, depots and underground infrastructure. The role ensures that project objectives align with business strategies, regulatory requirements and transit authority standards, while managing multidisciplinary coordination, project administration and client relationships. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:• Determine project goals to ensure alignment with business objectives, strategies and transit authority requirements. • Assist the Project Lead in overall project administration and resolution of design-related issues. • Lead and manage a team of architectural personnel to ensure efficient use of resources and timely delivery. • Prepare project schedules using Microsoft Project or equivalent tools and monitor milestones and deliverables. • Track project progress and ensure deliverables are completed within budget, timelines and acceptable quality standards. • Ensure timely submission of drawings, documents and deliverables to meet committed deadlines. • Liaise and coordinate with consultants on design matters, building requirements and code compliance. • Coordinate all disciplines involved in projects, including architectural, structural, M&E, interior design and landscape, from design through completion. • Document, control and manage design changes, revisions and approvals. • Manage contractual and commercial issues in coordination with the project team and management. • Oversee on-site progress, conduct inspections and resolve design and construction-related issues. • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, including engagement with transit authorities and stakeholders. JOB REQUIREMENTS:• Degree or Master’s Degree in Architecture. • Minimum 8 years of relevant architectural working experience, with at least 5 years in rail and transit projects (e.g. underground metro stations, MRT/LRT stations or bus depots). • Strong understanding of transit planning, station design, operational requirements and safety considerations. • Proficiency in Revit and BIM-based project delivery. • Experience coordinating complex multidisciplinary infrastructure projects. • Qualified Person (QP) registration is preferred. • Strong leadership, coordination, communication and stakeholder management skills.Similar Jobs
