Support regional Wealth Management Operations by analyzing and documenting current processes, proposing re-engineering and automation solutions, assisting project implementation and testing, monitoring risk and controls, and producing reports and dashboards to track performance and project metrics.

In Group Operations, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. About the Role:The Senior Associate, Regional Wealth Management Operations will play a key supporting role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our Wealth Management Operations (WMO) across all DBS locations. This individual will primarily focus on understanding existing operational processes, conducting detailed business analysis, and contributing to process re-engineering and optimization efforts. They will work closely with project teams and senior colleagues to support the implementation of the WMO strategy and Target Operating Model.Responsibilities:Process Analysis and Documentation:
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing Wealth Management operational processes to identify pain points, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Document current-state processes, workflows, and system interactions using tools like Visio, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders in local operations to gather requirements and understand their operational needs and challenges.
- Perform in-depth business analysis to identify root causes of operational issues and propose data-driven solutions for process re-engineering and automation.
- Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and success metrics for smaller initiatives or components of larger projects.
- Contribute to the development of future-state process designs and target operating models.
- Provide active support to project managers and senior colleagues on regional WMO projects, including system enhancements, process improvements, and new product launches.
- Assist in tracking project progress, maintaining project documentation, and preparing status updates for relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in testing new systems and processes, ensuring they meet defined requirements and operational standards.
- Support the creation of training materials and user guides for new processes and systems.
- Assist in identifying potential operational risks and control gaps within WMO processes.
- Support the monitoring of adherence to operational policies, processes, and controls across regional locations.
- Contribute to discussions on resolving risk and control issues and sharing best practices.
- Collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of operational data to identify trends, derive insights, and support decision-making.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to visualize process performance and project metrics.
- Degree Holder with at least 5 years of relevant project management experience in Wealth Management and Private Banking Operations
- Hands-on experience with Avaloq System will be of added advantage
- A keen eye for control and ability to sieve out key issues and root causes in various circumstances
- Strong control mindset, with an eye for details, ability to prepare/manage schedules to deliver under tight deadlines
- Experience working at an organisation going through an Agile transformation
- Be able to communicate the analytical findings, both in writing and verbally
- Solution focused and possess strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyse significant amount of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-motivated demonstrating growth mindset with quest for learning new skills and techniques
- Experience in dashboarding tools like Tableau preferred with competency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
