Responsibilities:
You are on a journey to join an exciting Company and be part of our success story. Here we will equip you with the know-how and experience that will define your growth. In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:
Tactical:
- Sourcing & tendering – issue RFQs, obtain the required competitive bids, evaluate quotations. Site visits with stakeholders and vendors are expected. Some travel may be expected.
- Purchase order management – raise purchase orders, secure internal approvals and manage PO amendments and follow-up.
- Logistics, freight & import coordination – arrange forwarders, issue shipping instructions, manage return cargo, and prepare / verify commercial invoices, packing lists and AWB tracking.
- Procure-to-pay closeout – coordinate goods receipt (GR) and invoice receipt (IR), resolve invoice and discount discrepancies, and support timely payment.
Strategic:
- Digitalization and Automation – assist team manager in improving working processes by increasing productivity and efficiency with more AI and automation
- Data analytics for Consolidation - organize and convert data into actionable insights for group level consolidation efforts.
- Vendor management – onboard vendors; establish direct-buy arrangements for the mills and maintain key vendor relationships.
- Strategic Frame Agreements – category management of frame agreements with vendors
