About the Role

We are currently seeking a versatile Senior Accountant to join our team, overseeing financial operations in our family office, investment funds and game company. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, as well as contributing to strategic financial decision-making processes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform accounting duties including bookkeepingcompilation and preparation of financial statements and payroll.
  • Ensure all management reports are submitted in a timely manner within the stipulated delivery deadlines.
  • Improve and optimize financial workflows, which includes using existing technology tools and applications to increase efficiency and automation.
  • Drive tax planning, preparation and filing (income tax, GST etc) exercise, including collaboration with tax authorities.
  • Manage all accounting matters of the assigned legal entities within the group to ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, local GAAP, group policies, MAS reporting requirements as well as tax requirements.
  • Ensure all requests for payments are properly authorised and supported by relevant documentation and prompt payment made to suppliers.
  • Process payroll, including salary calculations, CPF submissions, and payslips.
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or other related fields
  • At least 5 years of experience in an accounting agency / audit firm 
  • Strong understanding of full-set accounting
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, laws, and any other compliance requirements
  • Strong in Excel; proficient in VBA, and other data analysis tools
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proactive, hands-on, and takes initiative to solve problems
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with stakeholders
