This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven Senior Account Manager to support and expand our Cloud Managed Services business unit. Reporting to the Business Unit Owner, this role focuses on growing client accounts, driving sales engagements, and delivering cloud and infrastructure managed services to enterprise and government clients.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Business Unit Owner to develop new business opportunities, expand existing accounts, and support the delivery of cloud and infrastructure operations services. The ideal candidate is comfortable engaging clients in both technical and commercial discussions, and has prior experience in infrastructure operations, cloud environments, or managed services delivery.
This role offers strong exposure to enterprise and Singapore government projects, with opportunities to contribute to the growth and direction of a fast-expanding cloud services practice.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Management & Sales Engagement- Support the Business Unit Owner in developing and executing growth strategies for the Cloud Managed Services business, with a focus on enterprise and government clients.
- Engage clients to understand their cloud, infrastructure, and operational support requirements, positioning managed services solutions that address their operational challenges.
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders across IT infrastructure, cloud operations, and digital transformation teams.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including managed services engagements, infrastructure support contracts, and cloud operations projects.
- Support business development activities including lead generation, proposal preparation, solution discussions, and client presentations.
- Participate in tender submissions and procurement processes, particularly within government and enterprise environments.
- Expand existing accounts by identifying opportunities for service expansion, optimisation, and long-term managed services partnerships.
- Leverage prior experience in cloud platforms, infrastructure operations, or IT service management to understand client technical environments and requirements.
- Support the design and positioning of managed services offerings covering cloud operations, infrastructure management, and platform support.
- Work with technical and delivery teams to ensure smooth transition from sales to service delivery for managed services engagements.
- Coordinate with internal teams supporting cloud infrastructure, monitoring, incident management, and service operations.
- Ensure that solutions proposed align with client operational needs, security requirements, and service level expectations.
- Contribute to the development of scalable managed services offerings, frameworks, and delivery models.
- Stay updated on cloud, infrastructure, and IT operations trends, identifying opportunities to expand service offerings.
- Support the development of strategic partnerships with clients to enable long-term managed services engagements.
- Help build a pipeline of opportunities across cloud operations, infrastructure support, and digital infrastructure services.
Requirements
- Background in IT services, cloud infrastructure, or managed services, with exposure to infrastructure or cloud operations environments.
- Comfortable with client-facing sales engagements, including requirements discussions, solution positioning, and commercial conversations.
- Experience supporting or managing IT services accounts, cloud operations projects, or managed services engagements.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, infrastructure operations, or IT service management practices is preferred.
- Experience working with enterprise clients, with exposure to tenders or large-scale IT services engagements.
- Experience or familiarity with Singapore Government agencies or public sector projects is a strong advantage.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and commercial discussions.
- Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and support business growth in a fast-paced environment.
