Senior Account Executive

This role opens up opportunities for candidates based in Singapore or Malaysia.

As an experienced consultative sales professional, the Senior Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth and bringing in net new business from partners, prospects and current customers. This individual must be proficient in maximizing revenues through a combination of direct/indirect sales and will have demonstrable experience in direct sales and therefore ‘high-touch’ capabilities.

The senior Account Executive must have experience selling business solutions in one or more of the following or closely-related categories: Contact Centre, Social Engagements, CRM applications, SaaS and Communications. Experience with positioning and selling AI, Data analytics across business processes will be advantageous.

The Account Executive is required to solve the business needs of prospects and customers by aligning those needs and objectives with Genesys solution(s). As an Account Executive, you are responsible for all opportunities, accounts and partners assigned to you that will likely fall across a myriad of markets (Singapore, Indonesia), industries and sizes.

You will be assigned to focus on one or more industry verticals with opportunities in that vertical across a range of sizes. As part of the role the individual will be expected to research the business issues particular to that vertical sector and become a subject matter expert in that industry vertical. The intention is that you will be crafting solutions for customers that are specifically relevant to the issues they face in their particular industry.

What You’ll Do: In this role, the primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of customers across public sector (WOG/Healthcare), Banking, whitespace verticals, serving as their primary business point of contact throughout their CX journey.

  • Understand customers’ business value drivers, success criteria, and KPIs to develop Customer Success Plans collectively with the Customer Success Manager.

  • Prescribe the adoption and use of Genesys Cloud CX Platform features/functionality and services to the achievement of key customer business outcomes

  • Establish a regular cadence of Executive Business Reviews with the customer to track progress towards their stated business objectives

  • Drive continuous improvement of customer advocacy measures and hold ownership of account success from presales to post sales stages.

  • Prepare and deliver territory plans to define account strategies and align resources across functions (Presales, Marketing, Channels, Customer Success, Renewals)

  • Establish shared accountability with adjacent functions in key points of the customer journey including, but not limited to:

    • Introduce Consulting/Advisory & Professional Services to ensure that implementations progress smoothly to go-live

    • Collaborate with functional team members to drive strong forecasting and renewal practices that deliver high retention rates and growth of recurring revenue

    • Identify cross-sell/up-sell opportunities and drive incremental bookings collectively with Customer success members.

  • Ad-hoc duties as directed by Management; Take on and assist in driving internal strategic initiatives and continuous improvement programs.

You’ve been there and done this…

  • 15+ years’ experience (technology-related field), with at least 10 years of sales experience and most recent 4 years in a SaaS with AI, Data analytics role and with proven track records in managing, selling, growing revenues with account assigned, and leveraging MEDDPICC to drive sales excellence.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technology- or business-related field

  • Proven experience with CX (industry and technology) to drive consultative approach to partner engagements and customer.

  • Proven ability to influence, orchestrate and leading in end-to-end complex deals and accomplished net new sales wins of above USD500k within the market of Singapore, Indonesia or more.

  • Strong ability to build relationships and proactive engagement using digital touch capabilities

  • Ability to manage/multi-task multiple actions across assigned customer base

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation skills – both written and verbal

  • Language: Fluent in English, must be proficient in Bahasa Indonesia or Bahasa Malay.

  • In-depth knowledge of market(s) business nuances and operational understanding (i.e., regulatory framework)

  • Positive attitude and high willingness to learn

  • Proven Individual sales contributor and profile that unifies, influences, and inspires cross-functional teams to meet the changing needs of customers

  • Experience with productivity tools including PowerPoint/Excel/Word, CRM tools such as Salesforce, Clari and 6Sense, and on-line communities and social media platforms

  • Be able to travel up to 70% of the time, to customer meetings and remote offices.

  • Travels to customer and business meeting sites as required

  • Ability to travel within and outside of territory to customer and business meeting sites, including international locations
