More About the Role
We are lookng for a Senior Account Executive to join our dynamic team, where you’ll play a key role in driving client success through strategic media relations, integrated strategies, and effective communication. In this role, you’ll lead public relations campaigns, work closely with clients, and collaborate with the team to develop impactful strategies. You’ll have the opportunity to mentor junior team members, shape creative ideas, and grow client relationships while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do
- Be the go-to person for your client, ensuring projects are completed quickly, efficiently, and accurately while maintaining clear communication at all times.
- Understand what it takes to develop impactful integrated communications strategies and contribute to building, evaluating, implementing and measuring integrated communications plans to meet client objectives and drive revenue.
- Don’t just work on brands, be immersed in them. Sign up for feeds and publications that explore and dissect brand campaigns, strategies, successes and failures.This will only add value to your thinking. Lead research projects.
- Master the art of storytelling to shape interesting, timely and relevant client stories. Oversee development of press materials, press events and media results reports. Strategize storytelling around the media landscape – including editorial calendars, media moves programs, and subscribing to media newsletters.
- Oversee content development across digital channels and social media platforms, ensuring alignment with brand strategies and audience engagement.
- Learn the art of brainstorm facilitation and how to inspire, gather, identify and develop meaningful concepts based on consumer insights or human truths. When not facilitating, actively participate in brainstorms.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering their growth through coaching, feedback, and ongoing support, while contributing to the overall success of the team.
Experience that Contributes to Success
- Proven experience in public relations or media relations, with a track record of developing and executing media strategies.
- Ambitious, creative, curious and energetic, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft clear, impactful messages for clients and stakeholders.
- Experience cultivating media and influencer relationships, pitching stories, and monitoring coverage to deliver results.
- Familiarity with current digital marketing trends, social media platforms, and analytics tools.
- Ability to think strategically, offering insights and creative solutions to client challenges.
- Experience in managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Proactive in identifying opportunities for business development and growth, with experience assisting in new business pitches and case studies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members toward success.
- Have a self-starting, entrepreneurial approach to work, and embrace a Growth Mindset.
- Have a point-of-view and share it vocally.
