To provide sales administration and operational support to the Bupa Global Standard Chartered partnership sales team in Singapore. The role supports Health Insurance Specialists throughout the application process by checking and processing application documentation, coordinating with internal teams, maintaining accurate records, monitoring outstanding requirements and providing timely administrative support to the wider team.

The role helps deliver an efficient, accurate and consistent application experience for partnership customers and sales colleagues. It is a non-advisory role and does not provide insurance advice, recommend products or make underwriting decisions.

How you’ll help us make health happen:

  • Receive, review and process new business applications submitted by the Standard Chartered sales team and Health Insurance Specialists.
  • Check application forms and supporting documents for completeness, accuracy and alignment with approved processes before submission.
  • Prepare, upload and maintain application information and supporting documentation in approved Bupa and partner systems.
  • Coordinate with underwriting, operations, compliance, finance and other internal teams to progress applications through to completion.
  • Track outstanding requirements, application status and turnaround times, and follow up proactively to minimise delays.
  • Keep Health Insurance Specialists informed of application progress, additional requirements, decisions and operational issues.
  • Support policy issuance, payment follow-up, document distribution and other post-submission activities where required.
  • Support the secure transfer and handling of customer documentation between Standard Chartered and Bupa using approved systems and communication channels.
  • Maintain accurate application trackers, pipeline reports and management information for the Singapore partnership sales team.
  • Respond to routine application and administration queries from the sales team and direct complex matters to the appropriate subject-matter expert.
  • Provide operational and administrative support for team meetings, onboarding, training coordination, access requests, reporting and other ad hoc requests as required.
  • Support audits, quality assurance reviews, governance checks and remediation activities when requested.
  • Comply with applicable Singapore laws and regulations and with Bupa and Standard Chartered policies, controls and procedures relevant to the role.
  • Support fair customer outcomes through accurate, timely and transparent application administration.
  • Handle personal, financial and medical information in accordance with Singapore data protection requirements and applicable internal privacy and information-security standards.

Key Skills/Qualifications needed for this role:

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification; a qualification in business administration, financial services or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Relevant experience may be considered in place of a formal qualification.
  • Willingness to complete all required Bupa, Standard Chartered and Singapore-specific training applicable to the role.
  • Experience in sales administration, insurance operations, banking operations, customer onboarding or a similar support role.
  • Experience supporting application processing in a regulated financial-services or insurance environment is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to process a high volume of work accurately.
  • Ability to organise competing priorities, meet service timelines and follow cases through to completion.
  • Confident working with sales, underwriting, operations, compliance, finance and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience using CRM, workflow or document-management systems.
  • Clear written and spoken English. Additional language capability may be advantageous where it is relevant to the customer base and business needs.
  • Experience handling medical underwriting documentation, identification documents or payment administration is an advantage.
