We’re looking for a Sales Specialist for our business in the Marine/Shipyards sector. The role will be based in Singapore primarily but also exploring opportunities across Malaysia, Batam & Brunei and the main job function is to drive significant revenue growth through consultative selling of complex technical solutions to marine and oil & gas customers across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.

What you’ll do:
- Develop and execute sales and marketing plans, including product revenue targets and annual sales budgets.
- Identify and evaluate potential new opportunities, recommending strategies to boost sales and increase market share.
- Implement and support the national accounts plan.
- Ensure the attainment of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Assist in establishing and expanding a diverse customer base through weekly face-to-face and telephone sales calls.
- Submit market analysis reports detailing competitor activity, potential projects, and market trends.
- Continually maintain and update customer records and report on call activity.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals in accordance with Aggreko’s terms and conditions.
- Acquire sound knowledge of internal administrative practices, including hire procedures, the quick track system, product knowledge, and depot operations.
- Ensure all customer and opportunity details are managed and maintained accurately in the CRM system.
- Cultivate strategic relationships across operational and executive stakeholder levels within oil & gas organizations.
- Develop complex technical solutions to address unique customer challenges in remote, hazardous, and extreme environments.
- Manage intricate contract negotiations, balancing risk and commercial terms for high-value, multi-year projects.
- Create compelling business cases demonstrating clear operational and financial benefits through comprehensive ROI and TCO analysis.
- Lead the development of technical proposals for sophisticated bids and coordinate solutions across international locations with diverse regulatory frameworks.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
- Proven track record in complex B2B technical solution sales, consistently meeting/exceeding targets
- Background in oil & gas, energy services, or related industrial sectors with deep understanding of operational workflows
- Experience managing extended sales cycles (6+ months) with multiple stakeholders across complex organizational structures
- Success building C-suite and technical decision-maker relationships in global energy companies
- History of developing and delivering technical proposals involving multiple product lines for remote or challenging environments
- Deep understanding of oil & gas operational workflows, terminology, and business drivers across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations
- Comfort with international travel and ability to work effectively across diverse cultural and regulatory environments
