A Day in the LifeThe Sales Representative – Neurovascular promotes and sells Medtronic’s Neurovascular products within an assigned territory or customer accounts. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, building strong relationships with physicians and clinical staff, and driving product adoption through education and market development activities.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Promotes and sells Medtronic's Neurovascular products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including interventionalist, nurses, and KOL.

  • Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services.

  • Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services.

  • Promotes and provide education of the company's products and/or services to staff and physicians.

  • Provides technical case support to customers and provide the best clinical solution to patients and customers.

  • Conducts market research including customers and competitors activities.

  • Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.

  • Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.

Required Knowledge and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • 3 years medical device sales experience (preferably)

  • Clinical experience in the interventional suite and/or hospital environment

  • Experience selling high physician preference medical devices, preferred endovascular space and/or neurovascular space (catheter based)

  • Recognized sales professional with a proven track record of results in medical sales and training

  • Strong communication, relationship building, and sales skills.
