We are looking for a high-performing, Singapore-based Sales Manager to lead buyer development efforts across Southeast Asia and the broader Asia region.
This role is ideal for a commercially driven seller with a strong network across agencies and marketers, passionate about driving revenue growth through marketplace partnerships and strategic buyer activation.
The successful candidate will focus on growing relationships across key holding groups including Omnicom and WPP and will ideally bring additional language capabilities, with Thai or Bahasa/Malay preferred.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Drive new business by identifying and converting opportunities across agencies, trading desks, and brand marketers throughout Asia.
- Develop strategic relationships across agency holding companies including Omnicom and WPP.
- Evangelize Index Exchange’s marketplace capabilities, helping buyers understand how to access high-quality, transparent, and efficient supply.
- Pitch and close partnership opportunities, including private marketplaces (PMPs), curated deal packages, audience-first targeting solutions, and regional initiatives.
- Work closely with internal teams including Publisher Development, Technical Account Management, Analytics, Marketing, and Product to deliver impactful buyer solutions.
- Represent Index Exchange at industry events, thought leadership sessions, and client engagements.
- Build and maintain a strong opportunity pipeline and deliver against revenue goals with clear forecasting and reporting.
Here's what you need:
- 5+ years of experience in digital media sales or partnerships, ideally within the programmatic ecosystem.
- Well-connected across Southeast Asia’s agency and marketing communities, with a proven ability to build relationships and influence decisions.
- Strong understanding of marketplace dynamics, SPO, data-driven strategies, and buyer KPIs.
- A clear and compelling communicator who can deliver tailored value propositions to senior-level clients.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Strong organizational and pipeline management skills.
- Additional language capabilities are preferred, particularly Thai or Bahasa/Malay.
