JOB DESCRIPTION:1.0 Primary Job Function
To provide sales team with leadership, short- and long-term sales strategies, direction and resources to ensure sales targets are achieved. Work closely with Marketing team to align sales strategies with overall marketing directions.
2.0 Core Job ResponsibilitiesPossess in depth knowledge of the industry, products, business environment and best practices.
Establish and implement strategic sales plan and budget, policies and programs within the context of the overall marketing plan.
Facilitate planning of Key Account strategies and territorial account management through sales report analysis and market intelligence to develop clear, actionable and measurable sales plans and tactics including monthly forecast accuracy.
Effectively use tools and resources (SFE/SFA) to enhance business reach of team to key customers to ensure success Develop solutions to problems within budgetary constraints.
Ensure consistent sales growth and achievement of sales targets in assigned product portfolio by identifying business opportunities and gaining new business while maintaining existing business and communicating to the management through monthly reports and informal discussions.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through appropriate allocation of sales territories, coaching of sales team and strategic contact with key customers, associations and Government representatives.
Update management of issues affecting sales performance through regular reporting and informal discussions.
Support team to identify individuals in the buying decision (Advocates, Endorsers, Gatekeepers).
Build and maintain close business relationships with key customers.
Actively seek and identify areas for continuous improvement on an ongoing basis.
Ensure team members comply with relevant Acts, legal demands, ethical standards and Corporate Business and Safety procedures.
Build, manage and develop a sales team of more than 3 representatives to achieve their goals through ongoing coaching, training and development programs, sales meetings, regular feedback and evaluation on performance, and appropriate reward and recognition.
Position reports to and is accountable to the National Sales Manager. Direct Reports including sales representatives in respective sales team.
4.0 Minimum EducationUniversity degree preferably in science or business.
5.0 Minimum Experience/ Knowledge RequiredMinimum 7 years of strong sales track record preferably in healthcare industry.
Minimum 2 years people management experience.
Must be proficient in verbal and written communication.
Must be driven, a team leader and possess strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Resourceful and excellent problem-solving skills.
Team player with a positive mindset.
Passionate, self-motivated, and energetic.
