Job Description:

In our organisation, a successful Sales Executive/ Senior Sales Executive will continually be driving revenue growth whilst building a deep knowledge of our clients and their requirements and challenges. Our approach is to create and manage long term relationships through solution and insight selling. Our partnership with clients ensures we are the supplier of choice. 

You will be responsible for the success of an assigned territory and partnering with key senior stakeholders both internally and externally.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed your annual sales target through proactive management of pipeline. This will include a combination of managing existing accounts and prospecting/networking into new business

  • Build a clear strategy for your territory and clients that is aligned with our Management team.  Prepare a weekly forecast and ensure your sales activities are logged and reported in the CRM

  • Work alongside our Marketing and Inside Sales teams to create external campaigns to ensure maximum exposure

  • Identify, negotiate and close cross-selling opportunities with sales experts in other teams around the globe.

  • Be well versed in the competitive landscape and how to position Datasite against other providers

  • Present a value based selling approach with Datasite clients and offer solution advice based around multiple use cases

  • Be a confident professional that can interact at C Suite level within our client base. Use your market leading knowledge to influence clients and identify opportunities for collaboration

  • Receive and manage client feedback, followed by providing feedback to Customer Service and Product Engineers

  • Foster a strong teamwork ethic that is demonstrated by your actions and an inclusive approach to selling.

  • Fluency in English is essential

  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills

  • Good quality senior and long-standing industry relationships

  • Ability to communicate at all levels

  • Leadership and execution skills

  • Detail oriented with strong organisational skills

  • PC proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Qualifications

  • Degree preferred

Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum 3 - 4 years sales experience

  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets

  • Technology/SaaS/Financial Services sales experience highly regarded
