Clario is seeking a motivated and proactive Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic team based in Japan. In this role, you will support Clario’s commercial teams by driving growth, identifying new business opportunities, qualifying leads, and building strong initial relationships with potential clients. As an SDR with Clario, you will play a key role in expanding our impact within the digital physiology and medical imaging fields, ensuring our innovative solutions reach a broader audience to transform patient care.

What you'll be doing
The Sales Development Representative's duties include RFP administration and consolidation, strategy call set up, rebid request and change order follow up. Focus is to also identify Cardiac Solutions and Medical Imaging sponsors and CROs early, building pipeline and handing off opportunities to the BD team with oversight of these opportunities in Salesforce.

Acknowledgement of receipt of RFP to the client.
Review of request for complete information to complete request and communication with client for any additional information.
Entry of opportunity in company CRM system.
Administration of pricing tool.
Upload of supplemental material into CRM system.
Coordinates activities of appropriate staff on internal strategy calls.
Manage proposal deliverable due dates.
Manage rebid request (Revisions of pricing tool, additional strategy call, etc).
Follow up on Change Order Contracts and manage close dates in SF.
Support sales account teams in business-generating efforts, as needed.
Participates in meetings with Sales Operations team, Sales to Services meetings, and other departmental meetings as needed.
Provides other support and takes on other responsibilities as defined by team lead or team management.
Performs other duties, assignments, or special projects as needed.
What we look for
Bachelor’s degree in life-science, business, communications, or a closely related field is strongly preferred. However, any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform job duties may be considered.
1-3 years’ experience in pharma/clinical trials, sales, technical writing, proposals, or budget development.
Native Japanese and bilingual English language skills are essential for this role
Experience in a fast paced, multi-task environment; ability to work independently and under pressure.
Exceptional computer skills (MS office suite minimum).
Exceptional organizational skills.
Excellent personal interaction skills, professional telephone and client interaction skills.
Excellent judgment, attention to detail, communication and customer skills plus the ability to work as part of a team as well as individual contributor.
