Job Description
Location: SingaporeDuration: December 2026 to May 2027 (Full-Time)Meet the Team 

Cisco is seeking a motivated and ambitious Sales Development Representative Intern to join our dynamic Splunk team in Singapore. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our sales organization, acting as a critical bridge between marketing efforts and our field sales team. You will support the Splunk sales ecosystem by identifying new business opportunities, driving pipeline growth, and gaining firsthand experience in the fast-paced world of data security and observability. This internship is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the enterprise software sales cycle, offering mentorship from industry leaders and exposure to cutting-edge technology solutions that empower organizations to be more secure and resilient.

Your Impact 
  • Lead qualification: Research and qualify inbound leads and outbound prospects to identify high-potential opportunities for the Splunk portfolio.

  • Strategic outreach: Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns—including personalized emails, professional phone calls, and social selling via LinkedIn—to engage key decision-makers.

  • CRM management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within our CRM system, ensuring data integrity and effective tracking of prospect interactions.

  • Sales collaboration: Partner closely with our field Sales team to develop territory plans, prepare for discovery calls, and assist in the strategic mapping of target accounts.

  • Market insight: Stay informed on industry trends regarding cybersecurity and observability to effectively communicate the value of Splunk solutions to potential customers.

Minimum Qualifications 
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

  • A genuine interest in technology sales and a desire to build a career within the enterprise software industry.

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Must be Singaporean citizen or Permanent Resident.


Preferred Qualifications 
  • A proactive, "can-do" attitude with a high level of curiosity and a willingness to learn from challenges.

  • Resilience and the ability to handle rejection professionally while remaining focused on achieving goals.

  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles or internships is a plus.
