We are seeking an experienced Safety Officer to ensure the highest safety standards across Oil and Gas activities on-site. The candidate will implement and enforce company and client HSE policies, conduct inspections and audits, and promote a culture of safety among all workforce levels.

Position: Safety Officer
Location: Saudi Arabia
Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Engineering or Science
Experience: 5–10 years
Industry: Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals
Certifications: NEBOSH IGC / IOSH / OSHA or equivalent (mandatory)

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and enforce company HSE policies, procedures, and client safety requirements at site

  • Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits for fabrication, erection, piping, and structural activities

  • Identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective and preventive measures

  • Monitor Permit-to-Work systems (Hot Work, Confined Space, Work at Height, Lifting operations, etc.)

  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness programs for workforce and subcontractors

  • Ensure proper use of PPE and safe execution of tasks in high-risk areas

  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts/conditions; prepare reports with corrective action plans

  • Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and client safety representatives to maintain safe work practices

  • Maintain documentation of HSE records, reports, and compliance as per project and regulatory requirements

  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement at all levels of the organization

• 5 Year Gulf + Saudi in Oil & Gas Field

• Similar experience in Petrochemical in India can be preferred

• Work Experience in Jubail / Yanbu Area preferred

• SABIC / ARAMCO Work Experience with Approvals Preferred

• Should have work experience as safety officer working for a reputed contracting company

• Degree in any Engineering discipline Preferred from a reputed college

• NEBOSH Certification Required

• Working Knwoledge of MS Word and MS Excel Required

• Fluent in Speaking, Reading and Writing English

• Fluent in Email communications
