Responsibilities:

  • Work in tandem with in-house Robotics & Automation Engineer and Process Engineers.
  • Documentation of developed solutions to facilitate hand-takeover procedures towards the end of the internship
  • Any other ad hoc duties as and when required

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Mechatronics / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical & Electronic Engineering / Computer Science (Robotics-related fields)
  • And/or currently doing a Bachelor’s degree in the aforementioned fields.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities with a keen eye on details
  • Hands-on experience with working with COBOTs and AMRs
  • Proficient in Fusion360 or other 3D modelling software will be a plus
  • Experience with building robotics simulation environments will be a plus

The Robotics Integration & Simulation Intern (Industry 4.0), will have the opportunities to:

  • Learn about the processes in a real manufacturing plant
  • Build simulation environments for robots
  • Program and optimise 6 DOF collaborative robots (COBOT) and autonomous mobile robots (AMR)
  • Get hands-on experience in additive (FDM) and subtractive (CNC) manufacturing
