About The Role

This role will be under our digital risk of management team. This role will be responsible to track the lending portfolio's performance, analyze trends and risks across segments, and provide insights to stakeholders on portfolio health. Suggest adjustments to credit policies and risk limits. Work with credit risk, underwriting, and data science teams to align risk models with business strategy and create monitoring dashboards. Help develop lending risk policies and prepare regular reports on credit risk and portfolio performance.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the performance of the lending portfolio, tracking key metrics.
  • Conduct portfolio segmentation and cohort analysis to identify performance trends and potential risks across different segments and products.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders on portfolio health, suggesting adjustment to credit policy and risk limits. 
  • Work closely with the credit risk and underwriting teams to align risk models with overall credit policy and business strategy.
  • Work closely with the Data Science team in the preparation of dataset required to make monitoring dashboard and ad-hoc assessment. 
  • Participate in the creation of risk policies that govern the lending process and activities.
  • Prepare regular reports on credit risk and portfolio performance for stakeholders

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field are a plus.
  • 5+ years’ experience in credit risk analytics, portfolio management, risk management, preferably within banking, multifinance or fintech.
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics tools e.g SQL, Phython, R, and advance Excel.
  • Expertise in portfolio management handling lending portfolio in retail lending. Both consumer and productive lending is a plus. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across teams and external partners
