Location: Singapore (Remote / APAC Alignment)

Employment Type: Full-Time (Employed via Employer of Record / EOR framework)

Company Overview

Our client is a premier US-based RevOps and Go-To-Market (GTM) AI consultancy and Diamond-tier CRM partner. The firm works exclusively with Private Equity (PE) firms and their B2B portfolio companies to architect scalable, sustainable revenue growth. As the practice expands its global footprint, it is launching its first major APAC engagement—supporting a high-growth B2B technology software enterprise in the region.

Role Description

The Revenue Architect (Director, GTM Transformation & Revenue Systems) serves as the strategic leader and trusted advisor to our clients, responsible for architecting scalable, sustainable revenue growth across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success. It is a RevOps and GTM leadership position that combines business acumen, systems thinking, and cross-functional alignment to design the frameworks, processes, and roadmaps that drive predictable revenue growth.

Fluency across the revenue technology stack is required, and the work itself is strategic and executive-facing. As a Director-level leader, the Revenue Architect partners directly with executive stakeholders (including C-suite leaders and PE sponsors) to evaluate go-to-market maturity, define "what good looks like," and design actionable, phased growth roadmaps ("Crawl, Walk, Run" / "Now, Near, Far") that guide both strategy and execution.

They lead internal delivery teams ("Tiger Teams" comprising Solutions Architects, Technical Solutions Architects, Developers, and GTM Engineers) to bring these roadmaps to life through technology, process, and enablement. The Revenue Architect owns the client's multi-year picture. They read a revenue operation against the company's size, deal value, and go-to-market motion, form a defensible point of view on what has to change and in what order, and carry that point of view through executive scrutiny into delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Growth Architecture
  • Client Engagement Ownership: Lead client engagements as the strategic RevOps and GTM owner, translating business goals into clear operational and technological strategies.

  • Lifecycle Architecture: Architect scalable revenue systems across the full lifecycle, from marketing through customer success, with alignment to finance, data, and IT/engineering.

  • Executive Discovery: Conduct deep discovery sessions with client executives to understand revenue drivers, bottlenecks, and growth constraints, translating them into structured strategic frameworks.

  • Operating Model Evaluation: Read a client's operating model against its revenue, headcount, and average deal value, and identify where the current motion, org structure, or technology will fail to support the next stage of growth.

  • Architecture Definition: Define and document the end-to-end revenue architecture, including roles, processes, handoffs, and technology, to enable data-driven growth and operational efficiency.

  • Roadmap Design: Develop and communicate the client's growth roadmap, with "Now, Near, and Far" milestones that are practical, actionable, and measurable.

  • C-Suite Advisory: Serve as the executive point of contact and trusted advisor to C-Suite and VP-level client leaders, guiding RevOps maturity, GTM optimization, and scalable revenue operations.

  • Executive Pushback & Defensibility: Form a clear point of view, state the evidence and assumptions behind it, and defend it gracefully when executives, board members, or sponsor stakeholders challenge it.

  • Commercial Foresight: Identify the work that follows the current roadmap, tie it to a metric the client already owns, and bring it forward while it still matters to them.

Operational & RevOps Expertise
  • Process Optimization: Lead the design and optimization of core GTM processes: lead management, pipeline management, forecasting, customer handoff, renewals, and expansion.

  • Framework Design: Evaluate and improve RevOps frameworks, whether building from a blank slate or scaling a mature operation to the next level of efficiency and predictability.

  • Root Cause Diagnosis: Diagnose root causes across all five SPORT dimensions, recommending changes to ownership, process, team structure, or measurement when required.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with client marketing, sales, CS, and finance leaders to align people, process, and technology around shared revenue metrics and objectives.

  • Unified Operating Models: Build operating models that tie together marketing, sales, CS, and financial data for unified revenue reporting and decision-making.

  • Assumption Validation: Separate validated findings from working assumptions in every recommendation, naming what still needs to be confirmed and how.

  • Outcome Measurement: Ensure every initiative ties directly to measurable outcomes: pipeline velocity, conversion rates, retention, and margin impact.

Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Tiger Team Guidance: Lead internal Tiger Teams (Solutions Architects, Technical Solutions Architects, Developers, GTM Engineers) to execute strategic roadmaps with precision.

  • Design Intent & Delegation: Specify the design the delivery team builds from, defining requirements, data model intent, and sequencing, while leaving implementation approach to the technical owners.

  • Cross-Functional Accountability: Delegate effectively across technical and operational roles, ensuring clear ownership, accountability, and alignment.

  • Quality Assurance: Hold quality on client-facing deliverables, including roadmaps, readouts, and executive summaries.

  • Mentorship & Elevation: Provide mentorship, structure, and leadership to delivery teams to ensure strategy translates into actionable, high-quality execution.

  • Thought Leadership: Serve as a cultural and strategic leader within the consultancy firm, helping shape how RevOps strategy is delivered at scale and elevating client relationships.

Technology & Stack Awareness
  • Ecosystem Fluency: Maintain broad, functional knowledge of the revenue technology ecosystem:

    • CRM: HubSpot (Core focus) & Salesforce

    • Sales Engagement & Sequencing: Salesloft, Outreach, Gong Engage

    • ABM: Demandbase, 6sense

    • BI & Analytics: Power BI, Tableau

    • Scheduling: Chili Piper

    • CS & Service Platforms: Zendesk

    • Marketing Automation: Marketo, Pardot

    • Conversation Intelligence & Enablement: Gong

    • Data & Enrichment: Clay, Crossbeam

    • CPQ & Proposal Automation: DealHub, Consensus

  • Integration Logic: Understand how data moves between these systems, where records and definitions break down at scale, and what a given integration realistically costs to build and maintain. (Be prepared to walk through a messy integration you untangled).

  • Architecture vs. Configuration: Partner with technical teams to evaluate, select, and architect integrations across these systems. Note: Hands-on configuration is welcome but not required; screening focuses on architecture judgment rather than admin skills.

  • AI Readiness: Assess whether a client's data quality, process definitions, and ownership are ready to support AI and automation, sequencing the work that makes them ready.

Qualifications & Requirements
Experience & Background
  • Seniority: 8+ years in strategy, operations, consulting, or revenue leadership roles (Director/VP/Principal-level experience required). Qualifying paths include management consulting, chief of staff, business operations, operating leadership at a growth-stage company, private equity value creation, and Revenue Operations leadership.

  • Client Advisory Track Record: Proven experience designing and leading GTM and RevOps transformation initiatives for B2B organizations (preferably SaaS, tech, or services industries).

  • Systems over "Arts & Crafts": Strong preference for candidates with a business analytics, systems engineering, or BizOps background rather than traditional creative marketing.

  • Executive Credibility: Demonstrated ability to build credibility with senior executives who did not hire you, with a track record of recommendations that were funded and acted on.

  • Consulting Pedigree: Experience working in consulting or agency environments where client-facing leadership and strategic delivery were core to success.

  • Ecosystem Fluency: Working fluency across the revenue technology ecosystem, including deep familiarity with the HubSpot ecosystem (Sales, Marketing, Service, and Data Hubs) and strong working knowledge of complementary RevTech platforms. Hands-on configuration experience is welcome and is not a requirement of this role.

  • PE Exposure: Exposure to private equity or board-level audiences, including diligence, value creation planning, or post-close operating work, is a strong advantage.

Skills & Competencies
  • Executive Pushback: Able to form a defensible point of view from limited information, state assumptions behind it, and revise or defend it under executive scrutiny.

  • Problem Synthesis: Exceptional ability to synthesize complex problems and design clear, actionable growth strategies.

  • Uncertainty Navigation: Comfortable operating in ambiguity: capable of building frameworks and strategy from a "blank slate".
