Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Intern to work with our team.
You will work closely with our Singapore-based research team, learning fundamental research methodologies and industry analysis, with hands-on experience in financial modeling and market research.
This role offers exposure to various aspects of our business, including inputs into our Industry Models for semiconductors, AI accelerators, and datacenters.
As part of your internship, you may have the opportunity to attend industry events and conferences in Singapore to learn about the broader ecosystem.
This internship is designed to provide comprehensive training for students interested in pursuing a career in research and industry analysis.
The role is in our Singapore office at Tanjong Pagar.
Responsibilities
Learn basic financial analysis and modeling techniques through structured training and hands-on practice.
Assist with research tasks including data collection, market analysis, and industry trend monitoring.
Help track and organize information from earnings calls, press releases, and industry publications.
Support the team in preparing presentations, reports, and research materials.
Participate in team meetings and client calls to observe professional research practices.
Complete assigned projects that contribute to ongoing research while developing your analytical skills.
Engage in regular feedback sessions and professional development activities.
Requirements
Currently studying for an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or another relevant technical field.
Basic understanding of financial concepts and eagerness to learn financial modeling techniques.
Strong academic performance with demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills.
Solid research and analytical skills with the ability to gather information from multiple sources.
Proficient in Excel and comfortable learning new software tools. Any experience with Python, financial modeling, or data analysis is a plus but not required.
Familiarity with PowerPoint or similar presentation software preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
Self-motivated learner who can take direction and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrates the highest degree of integrity and transparency.
Proficiency in English is a must; additional languages are a plus.
Previous internship experience in finance, technology, or research is beneficial but not mandatory.
Demonstrated interest in semiconductors, AI, or technology sectors through coursework, projects, or personal interest.
