We are looking for a Research Engineer I to join a CITIES OF TOMORROW (CoT) R&D project for VERTICAL 5: CITY IN NATURE. The project plays a pivotal role in ensuring a resilient urban environment against climate change and contributes to NTU strategic research in Resilient Urbanisation & Natural Ecosystems that is aligned with Singapore’s national Research, Innovation and Enterprise 2025 plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in field and laboratory tests

  • Develop test protocols

  • Compile test data and maintain database

  • Conduct analysis and evaluation

  • Assist to prepare budgets, reports and papers

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline or related field

  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors

  • Good written and oral communication skills for report writing

  • Knowledge of software like Python and 3D modelling software will be an advantage.

  • Class 3 driving license (Singapore) will be an advantage.
