The Centre for Research and Development in Learning at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (CRADLE@NTU) seeks applicants with a Masters degree in Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience or related field from University a recognised institution.

The Research Associate will be an integral part of a research team in the Science of Learning of emerging skills (literacy and numeracy) conducting behavioral neuropsychological assessments with children and curating data for dissemination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise and work closely with stakeholders from external institutions, including schools, to support participant recruitment and research coordination.

  • Overseeing data collection with a neuropsychological and cognitive assessment battery.

  • Support follow-up longitudinal data collection and coordination across subprojects.

  • Manage, curate, and maintain research datasets in accordance with research governance and data management requirements.

  • Assist with data management and data analysis using software platforms

  • Support the preparation of research reports, presentations, publications, and dissemination activities.

  • Perform other research-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Master’s  degree in Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience or a related field

  • At least 5 years experience in child development research

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis (e.g., SPSS or R) and database management (e.g., REDCap)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.

  • Experience working with children or conducting behavioural research assessments will be advantageous.
