We are looking for a Research Assistant to support the research for the project titled: Robotics Innovation Research Fund.

Key Responsibilities:

The Research Assistant will work on voice recognition and human-robot interface design. The role of this position includes:

  • Literature survey of the latest voice recognition techniques.

  • Deployment of novel voice recognition techniques with high accuracy and timely responsiveness.

  • Development of a human-robot interface, facilitating voice-based communication with a robot.

  • Deployment of developed software tools in Unitree G1 robots.

  • Publication of research papers and IPs.

  • To assist project PI to coach research students.

Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields with past experience in embedded system, machine learning and software development.

  • Knowledge in robotic system development is a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
