Research assistant in “Quantum computing engineer”

The Nanyang Quantum Solutions team led by Prof. Marek Gluza at NTU Singapore is seeking a new member to propose new quantum algorithmic solutions based on Riemannian geometry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform quantum compilation optimizing towards successful execution on quantum hardware.

  • Support research on quantum algorithms by performing auxiliary data processing tasks.

  • Analyze prospects of new research directions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics, computer science or related field

  • At least 1 years of relevant experiences in research on quantum computing, e.g. final year project

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Proficiency in material covered by Nielsen and Chuang’s textbook

  • Ability to work independently, develop solutions under strict timelines, meticulous and eye for details, excellent organizational and time management skills.
