The Research Assistant will support the implementation of research projects under the supervision of the Principal Investigator(s). The role involves coordinating participant recruitment and data collection across multiple settings (e.g. preschools, hospitals, and laboratories), while ensuring smooth day-to-day research operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and executing studies

  • Supervising and training research assistants and students, and supporting project timelines and administration.

  • The Research Assistant will also handle data management (including cleaning, coding, and analysis), ensure compliance with ethical and institutional requirements, and contribute to grant reporting.

  • In addition, the role includes supporting research dissemination efforts, such as preparing manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals and assisting with conference presentations.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in psychology or a related social science field

  • Experience in research with human participants, especially children or families

  • Strong organisational, data management, and project coordination skills

  • Ability to supervise and work collaboratively with students and research staff

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Willingness to work flexibly across different settings and schedules
