Edelman is a voice synonymous with trust, reimagining a future where the currency of communication is action. Our culture thrives on three promises: boldness is possibility, empathy is progress, and curiosity is momentum.

At Edelman, we understand diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) transform our colleagues, our company, our clients, and our communities. We are in relentless pursuit of an equitable and inspiring workplace that is respectful of all, reflects and represents the world in which we live, and fosters trust, collaboration and belonging.

Edelman DXI Human Intelligence is looking for a curious, self-motivated, and eager-to-learn team player to join our internship program. This is a hands-on opportunity to build foundational skills in research, data analysis, and AI-powered insights — all within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

If you’re excited by the future of research, blending traditional rigour with next-gen tools, and want to see how data and intelligence shape strategic communications, we want to hear from you.

About EdelmanNEXT

EdelmanNEXT is our enriched internship program designed to provide real-world experience, training, and mentorship. You’ll be empowered with the skills and exposure to kickstart a career in research, communications, or marketing analytics.

This full-time, 6-month internship (Jul to Dec 2026) includes a well-rounded curriculum where you will:

  • Gain exposure to integrated communications and how insights drive brand value.
  • Learn how to conduct research using both traditional and AI-enabled methods.
  • Contribute to editorial and creative content development.
  • Understand how data, dashboards, and automation power modern storytelling.
  • Participate in client events and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Receive mentorship from experienced researchers and strategists.
  • Be part of a supportive, inclusive, and forward-thinking culture.

What You’ll Do

As part of the Data & Intelligence (DXI) team, you’ll support high-profile client projects across primary, secondary, and AI-assisted research. With training and guidance, you’ll:

  • Assist with project coordination and research execution — from scoping to delivery.
  • Support research design, data collection, quality control, and analysis.
  • Contribute to both qualitative and quantitative research efforts.
  • Use AI-enabled tools for media monitoring, sentiment analysis, and trend detection.
  • Help configure and optimize dashboards and automated reporting tools.
  • Analyze media and social content for key metrics (e.g., sentiment, influencers, messaging).
  • Conduct desk research and landscape reviews to support strategic insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

What We’re Looking For

  • A quick learner with a growth mindset and strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills.
  • Interest in data, research, and how AI is transforming the insights space.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office; bonus if you’ve dabbled in tools like Power BI, Tableau, or social listening platforms.
  • Exposure to data analysis, statistics, or research methods (qual or quant) is a plus.
  • Experience with SPSS, Python, or other analytics tools is a bonus — but not required.

Preferred Background

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Social Sciences, Communications, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Curious about how insights shape brand strategy, public opinion, and media narratives.
  • Eager to explore how AI can enhance research workflows and storytelling.

We are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t perfectly align with every qualification, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
