Conduct quantitative analysis of the Chinese energy market, collaborate with modeling teams, structure economic problems, interpret model results, support product development, and communicate insights and recommendations to clients. The role requires strong quantitative skills, interest in energy markets and policy, teamwork, communication, and fluent Mandarin.
Based in Singapore, you will contribute to the firm, by developing analysis and conveying insights on the Chinese energy market to enhance clients’ decision-making as they navigate the energy transition. You will play an active role in all aspects of client engagement: helping identify issues, forming hypotheses, conducting analysis, and synthesising conclusions into recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
- You will develop timely and rigorous quantitative analyses on the Chinese energy market to enhance clients’ decision making.
- You will work closely with our modelling team, structuring economic problems into quantifiable analyses and deriving insights from the model results.
- You will contribute to our product development, by identifying new opportunities and expanding our capabilities.
- You will engage with clients to thoroughly understand their requirements.
- You will communicate findings to clients.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required attributes:
- First-class or high second-class degree in a quantitative subject (Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, Finance), coupled with a keen interest in energy markets and policy developments
- Ability to collect, analyse and interpret complex quantitative data and information
- Evidence of strong performance in team-oriented environments
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical parties
- Fluent in Mandarin (reading, writing and speaking)
