Manages regional sales operations through performance dashboards, KPI monitoring, forecasting, business analysis, and automated reporting. Consolidates and validates sales, inventory, market, and operational data; identifies trends, gaps, risks, and growth opportunities; and delivers actionable insights to stakeholders. Partners with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and headquarters teams on planning and strategic initiatives. Supports AI and automation projects, process improvements, business reviews, and ad hoc analysis.
Position Summary
As a Regional Sales Operations Manager, you will be a part of the Business Strategy and Operation team, supporting business planning, sales performance management, and data –driven decision making across the business.You will analyse business performance, develop dashboards and automated reporting, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and translate data into actionable insights for stakeholders. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will also identify opportunities to improve processes, automate reporting, and apply AI-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency and business performance.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain sales performance dashboards, reports, and management presentations using Power BI, Excel, and other business intelligence tools.
- Consolidate, validate, and analyse sales, inventory, market, and operational data from multiple sources to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Monitor key business performance indicators (KPIs), identify performance gaps, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Analyse sales trends, product mix, and channel performance to identify growth opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews, planning, and forecasting through data-driven analysis and performance reporting.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, SCM, Finance, and HQ teams to support business planning and regional operational initiatives.
- Design and automate recurring reports and dashboards to improve reporting efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Support AI and automation initiatives by identifying relevant business use cases and applying AI tools to enhance reporting, analysis, and productivity.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, and operational efficiency, and support implementation of solutions.
- Track key projects and business initiatives, provide timely follow-up, and support ad hoc business analysis and strategic projects as required.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Planning, Commercial Planning, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into clear business insights and recommendations.
- Strong experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas.
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar to improve productivity, reporting, or business analysis is highly preferred.
- Experience with SAP, ERP, SFDC, or other business systems is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy and reporting quality.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate insights clearly to business and senior stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
