Job Description:

This is an office-based role in our Singapore office.

Wherever you are in the amazing world of Disney, you are contributing to the stories of our iconic brands, recognised by audiences everywhere for entertainment, information and inspiration. Innovation, imagination and inclusion are at the core of Disney, defining the experience that we deliver as well as providing the foundation of our success. About Disney Cruise Line

Since launching in 1998, Disney Cruise Line has established itself as a leader in the cruise industry, providing a setting where families can reconnect, adults can recharge and children can experience all Disney has to offer. Today, the award-winning Disney Cruise Line continues to expand its blueprint for family cruising with a fleet of six ships — the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Wish, and Disney Treasure — and seven more ships on the way, including the expanded relationship with Oriental Land Company Ltd. to bring Disney cruise vacations to Japan, by 2031. The Disney Cruise Line fleet sails to destinations in The Bahamas, the Caribbean, Europe, Alaska, Mexico, Canada, Hawaii, the South Pacific, and Australia and New Zealand. The Disney Adventure officially set sail on its maiden voyage from Singapore on March 10, 2026, marking the first Disney Cruise Line ship to homeport in Asia.

About the Role

Disney Cruise Line (DCL) is seeking a dynamic and passionate Regional Recruiter based in Singapore. This role is pivotal in identifying, engaging, and hiring exceptional talent for the shipboard crew across the region.  The ideal candidate will bring creativity, strong cultural insight, and a deep commitment to excellence in sourcing candidates who embody the Disney brand and values.

The Regional Recruiter will partner closely with a highly collaborative team of recruiters based in Celebration, Florida, London, England, and The Bahamas.  This unique role will help shape the future of our crew experience, support high-volume hiring needs, and contribute to the success of the most ambitious growth in DCL history.

As a regional subject matter expert in talent acquisition, this role will be responsible for developing and executing innovative recruitment strategies that resonate with regional talent markets, strengthening collaboration with the global DCL Talent Connection team, and providing guidance on regional best practices to support consistent, high-quality hiring outcomes.

This role is required to travel extensively within Southeast Asia and internationally, as needed, to support relationship-building, hiring events, and recruitment initiatives

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end, full-cycle recruitment for shipboard roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting crew for onboard positions
  • Provide comprehensive recruitment support across multiple business areas, including Hotel, HR, Entertainment, and Marine & Technical Operations.
  • Build, nurture, and maintain strong long-term relationships with local recruitment partners, manning agencies, hospitality schools, and training institutions throughout the region.
  • Collaborate closely with the global DCL Talent Connection team to align regional hiring strategies, timelines, workforce planning, and candidate pipelines.
  • Plan, lead, and execute regional recruitment campaigns and outreach strategies tailored to local labor markets, cultural nuances, and candidate expectations.
  • Conduct interviews for high-volume applicant populations both virtually and in person, ensuring consistent, inclusive and engaging candidate experience.
  • Serve as a key DCL brand ambassador by representing Disney Cruise Line at regional job fairs, career fairs, industry events, and university recruitment across Southeast Asia.
  • Partner with regional stakeholders to design and deliver hiring events and recruitment activations that drive strong candidate engagement and awareness of shipboard career opportunities.
  • Utilize recruitment systems and tools to manage candidate data, including tracking pipelines, monitoring hiring progress, and delivering regional support and insights.
  • Ability to work independently while building and sustaining strong relationships in a remote, cross-regional environment.
  • Travel extensively within Southeast Asia and internationally, as needed, to support relationship-building, hiring events, and recruitment initiatives.
  • Continuously develop business knowledge of the maritime and hospitality industries and share regional market insights and best practices with the broader DCL Talent Connection team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience leading high-volume or complex recruitment efforts, preferably within the hospitality, cruise, maritime or international staffing environment.
  • Strong understanding of the Southeast Asian labor markets, talent pipelines, and cultural nuances impacting recruitment and hiring practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility, trust, and influence across culturally diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced, global environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Hands on experience using recruitment platforms, applicant tracking systems, and hiring technology to manage pipelines and reporting.
  • Strong passion for Disney’s storytelling, brand standards, and guest-centric culture.
  • Fluency in English and one or more Southeast Asia languages is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and internationally dispersed teams.
  • Prior exposure to maritime recruitment, cruise industry operations, or shipboard staffing models is a plus.
