Position Overview

The Regional Procurement Lead will direct the Supply Chain Management & Procurement (SCMP) function to deliver strategic outsourcing initiatives, cost optimization programs, and vendor management excellence in alignment with JLL's SCMP commitments.

This role requires a multi-disciplined procurement expert with deep knowledge of Workplace and Integrated Facility Management (IFM). The successful candidate will develop and execute a comprehensive regional procurement strategy that drives complex initiatives, integrated outsourcing programs, platform technology compliance, global reporting standards, and procurement excellence.

Key Responsibilities

The Regional Procurement Lead will develop and implement regional procurement strategies aligned with global procurement governance frameworks. This includes designing and delivering communication and training programs for stakeholders, while executing contract and procurement strategies that generate sustainable long-term value.

The role demands active leadership in vendor management, including oversight of RFP processes and execution. The position serves as the critical link between global regional strategy and on-the-ground implementation, requiring a hands-on approach to ensure seamless execution of procurement initiatives across the region

Client Engagement & Performance Management

The Regional Procurement Lead will serve as a strategic partner to clients, cultivating strong, trust-based relationships through proactive engagement and consistent delivery of value. Success in this role requires anticipating client needs, maintaining regular communication, and ensuring procurement solutions align with and exceed client expectations.

The position holder will be accountable for achieving agreed-upon savings targets, implementing robust tracking mechanisms, and providing transparent reporting on procurement performance metrics. This includes developing comprehensive savings validation methodologies and presenting results to clients and senior leadership in a clear, data-driven format.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Team Management

Lead the SCMP Team in delivering comprehensive procurement services across key Asia Pacific markets, ensuring excellence in service delivery and alignment with regional business objectives.

Provide strategic SCMP direction across functional areas and programs, driving strategic outsourcing initiatives and vendor management excellence across multiple Integrated Facility Management disciplines.

Strategy Development & Execution

Develop and present a formal regional procurement strategy aligned with global initiatives and mandates, ensuring seamless integration with corporate procurement frameworks and client-specific requirements.

Lead the development and execution of vendor management strategies, identifying, sourcing, and securing optimal resources based on defined business requirements and measurable outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management

Establish and maintain strategic relationships with all stakeholder groups, including clients, account management teams, and corporate procurement functions. Drive effective supplier communication, market evaluation exercises, and comprehensive supplier management and governance protocols.

Cost Optimization & Value Delivery

Identify and capture cost reduction opportunities through leadership of annual savings programs with targets established each financial year. Maximize total buying power through strategic application of category management principles and cross-functional consolidation initiatives.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

Lead the implementation of continuous improvement programs with key suppliers and major buying groups, addressing end-to-end process optimization and value enhancement. Design and implement innovative processes and technology solutions where appropriate to drive operational excellence.

Supply Market Intelligence & Management

Develop comprehensive understanding of relevant supply market dynamics and cultivate a supply base that optimally supports business goals. Influence supply markets to ensure access to best-in-class suppliers who consistently deliver optimal solutions to evolving business requirements.

Best Practice Implementation

Lead the deployment of best practice procurement strategies across the account team for both operational expenditures and capital works programs, ensuring consistency and excellence in procurement execution.

Organizational Development

Foster a continuous learning culture and high-performance environment within the procurement team, promoting enthusiasm, professional development, and operational excellence.

Contribute to building a collaborative, team-based culture with account leadership, peers, and client organizations, strengthening cross-functional partnerships and alignment.
