As an integral part of Johnson & Johnson MedTech APAC Supply Chain organization which aspires to be BEST IN CLASS by sustaining and continuously improving maturity (Gartner Scale) to meet CREDO responsibilities, the regional IBP Lead is responsible for the overall planning processes for a specific platform or business unit under Johnson & Johnson Medical Device for the Asia Pacific region.
Role Overview
The Regional Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for orchestrating the end-to-end IBP process in Asia Pacific, ensuring strong alignment of business priorities, financial commitments, and supply chain capabilities.
As the primary supply chain liaison with regional business leaders and market stakeholders, this role connects commercial, finance, and global supply chain partners to enable balanced, fact-based decision-making. The IBP Lead ensures that risks, opportunities, and scenarios are transparently managed and translated into executable supply chain actions that sustain growth, profitability, and service excellence.
Business Partnership & IBP Orchestration
Lead the regional IBP cycle across demand, supply, inventory, and financial integration to align operational plans with business objectives.
Partner closely with regional business leaders, market stakeholders, finance, and global supply chain to enable robust demand consensus, capacity planning, and risk/opportunity management.
Act as the single point of accountability for business-to-supply chain dialogue, ensuring transparent trade-offs and fact-based decisions on growth, service, and cost.
Drive resolution of major business or supply disruptions by aligning across regional and global stakeholders.
Influence and shape regional franchise strategies by embedding IBP as the core decision-making forum.
Performance & Execution
Establish and manage aligned performance targets and service metrics (e.g., OTIF, forecast accuracy, inventory glidepath, ESO) that support business and customer outcomes.
Translate business strategies into supply chain implications, ensuring end-to-end network optimization and responsiveness.
Partner with global and market leaders to manage product lifecycle (NPI/LCM) readiness and execution.
Enable scenario planning to balance supply and demand in VUCA environments and provide visibility to leadership on financial and operational impacts.
Leadership & Capability Building
Influence or coach the regional or market planners and act as trusted business partners with strong analytical and influencing skills.
Promote cross-functional collaboration and foster a culture of enterprise ownership beyond traditional planning.
Drive the adoption of digital tools, advanced analytics, and automation to enhance IBP maturity and decision quality.
Model Credo-based leadership and promote diversity, inclusion, and resilience across the team.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain disciplines required. MBA or master’s degree strongly preferred.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in a complex supply chain/business environment, with at least 5 years in people leadership.
Proven experience in Integrated Business Planning, Demand/Supply Planning, or Commercial-Supply chain partnership at regional/global scale.
Strong business acumen with the ability to translate commercial strategies into supply chain actions.
Demonstrated stakeholder management skills in a matrix organization across local, regional, and global levels.
Experience in healthcare or other highly regulated industries preferred.
Track record of driving “best in class” results through IBP, operational excellence, and innovative solutions.
Proficiency in ERP/advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP, Blue Yonder ESP, Anaplan) and digital enablers for forecasting and scenario planning.
Certifications such as APICS, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent are a plus.
