Reporting to: Regional Managing Director, APAC

Location: Singapore

We’re looking for an experienced and influential Regional HR Manager to join COS and support our ambitious growth journey across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned HR Business Partner to make a meaningful impact by shaping the employee experience and driving business success.

About the Role

In partnership with the Regional Managing Director, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional outcomes for our customers by fostering a high-quality, people-first culture. You’ll act as a role model for trust, collaboration, safety, and transparency, with a strong focus on meaningful growth.

You’ll lead HR across the full employee lifecycle, providing hands-on support to the corporate office leadership team. In addition, you’ll directly manage a Regional Talent Acquisition Manager, and a team of HR Managers based across key APAC markets — including Greater China and South Korea, — delivering HR services to both our store network and office locations.

Core Responsibilities includes but is not limited to

  • Drive Regional HR Strategy: Lead the implementation of the Brand HR strategy across APAC to support business growth and ensure annual goals are achieved through our people.
  • Foster a People-First Culture: Build and sustain a working environment that prioritises employee engagement, retention, and well-being — all of which contribute to delivering an exceptional customer experience aligned with our Brand Vision.
  • Develop Regional Leadership: Coach and influence leaders across the region to grow the business while ensuring the full employee lifecycle is delivered with quality and in line with our values.
  • Lead a Multi-Market HR Team: Manage and develop a team of HR Managers across various APAC markets, ensuring alignment with regional and brand priorities while fostering collaboration and consistency.
  • Oversee Sales HR Function: Act as the functional lead for HR across the Sales organisation in the region. Guide and support the Store Sales HR Business Partners to effectively deliver on brand and regional HR goals.
  • Talent Acquisition: Directly manage the Regional TA Manager, ensuring the right talent is in place to support current and future business needs through close collaboration and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with Central HR: Maintain a strong feedback loop with the Central HR team, providing insights from the region to shape the Brand HR strategy and ensure evolving workforce needs are met.
  • Ensure Fairness and Brand Alignment: Partner with relevant H&M regions to ensure COS employees are treated fairly and consistently, while staying connected to our unique brand identity and culture.
  • Strategic Workforce Planning: Work closely with the Regional Brand Controller to assess resource needs and set the annual HR budget, ensuring the right investment is in place to support growth.
  • Succession Planning: Build a long-term succession strategy for the region, coaching leaders and following up to ensure the organisation is equipped to meet both current and future demands.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on HR leader with a strong foundation in the following areas:

  • Business Acumen: Strong commercial awareness with a deep understanding of how HR drives business outcomes. You should Ideally have diverse experience within the retail or fashion industry and a proven track record of advising senior and C-suite leaders on strategic HR matters.
  • Execution Excellence: Proven ability to lead teams and partner with business leaders to deliver high-quality, timely outcomes with attention to detail.
  • Data Literacy: Comfortable using data to inform decisions, measure impact, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Digital Agility: Embraces digital tools and innovation to enhance the employee experience and streamline HR processes.
  • People Advocacy: Passionate about creating inclusive, engaging, and people-first environments that reflect our values.
  • Travel: Some travel will be required to other parts of the APAC region as well as approx. two trips to our head office in London

In this role you will have some flexibility to work remotely however due to the high level of cross department collaborations. 4 days per week office presence is required to foster strong collaborations and teamwork.
