The GTM Strategy & Business Development role is a strategic function within Samsung’s Mobile B2B enterprise division. This individual is responsible for driving market expansion by identifying gaps, sourcing key strategic partners, and strategising with key stakeholders to deliver hypergrowth. The role requires an innovative mindset to develop solutions tailored to industries such as frontline, education and government verticals and to execute go-to-market strategies that drive business growth.

This role will be based in Singapore and is responsible for the South East Asia and Oceania region.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Implementation

  • Drive and execute Samsung’s regional strategy and initiatives in alignment with corporate goals and local market needs
  • Identify market gaps and devise solutions by leveraging internal capabilities and external partnerships.
  • Collaborate with RHQ and country teams to create and implement technology adoption roadmaps for key verticals
  • Source, secure, and develop strategic relationships with partners to expand ecosystem and addressable market opportunities
  • Work closely with product teams to oversee the integration and deployment of Samsung’s solutions such as integration of Enterprise Edition, B2B dedicated portfolio and Samsung Knox with key strategic imperatives
  • Provide insights into customer needs and industry trends to influence and tailor go-to-market strategies to be implemented by country teams.

Business Development:

  • Drive both direct sales and channel partnerships to expand market reach across the region with key focus on revenue generation.
  • Collaborate with country teams to develop localized sales strategies and support business development efforts.
  • Support bid processes, sales pitches, and key customer engagements to effectively position Samsung’s enterprise solutions.

Regional & Local Support

  • Provide ongoing support and consultancy to country teams, helping them navigate and maximise the benefits of the implemented technology
  • Support country teams in sales efforts, including identifying opportunities, crafting proposals, pitching to stakeholders and support the bid process
  • Be the voice of Samsung by providing thought leadership and key value proposition on Samsung’s solution & services (Samsung Knox and extensive portfolio) and crafting compelling high impact, high quality presentations to decision makers
  • Provide regular and timely update and progress reports for management on a regular basis
  • Work in lock-step with HQ and regional teams by leveraging global ecosystem and best practices to strengthen B2B capabilities in the region

Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of regional experience in business development, market development, strategic partnerships, consulting services or product management/marketing
  • Experience in Enterprise ICT sales and have worked on digital transformation/innovation projects, a must
  • Experience in emerging markets, cross-vertical industries and mobile software development industry
  • Experience working with/in startup environment or Telco industry, a plus
  • Mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are a must
  • Comfortable in interacting with C-Suite and top-level management
  • Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
  • Executive level presence and world class communications skills with verbal and written skills in English
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate key value proposition w possible and unique selling proposition to cross-functional audiences
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset, assertive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Hungry to learn new skills and grow
  • Passionate about technology and new technology trends
