Riot Games was established in 2006 by entrepreneurial gamers who believe that player-focused game development can result in great games. In 2009, Riot released its debut title League of Legends to critical and player acclaim. As the most played PC game in the world, over 100 million play every month. Players form the foundation of our community and it’s for them that we continue to evolve and improve the League of Legends experience.

We’re looking for humble but ambitious, razor-sharp professionals who can teach us a thing or two. We promise to return the favor. Like us, you take play seriously; you’re passionate about games. We embrace those who see things differently, aren’t afraid to experiment, and who have a healthy disregard for constraints.

That's where you come in.

As the Regional Community Lead for Teamfight Tactics, you will drive channels, community, social, influencer and content efforts across our broader game ecosystem in APAC. In partnership with games and publishing leadership, this role will develop, deliver, and manage all communications of the player experience in APAC including both high level strategy and day to day campaign tactics. You are responsible not just for what we’re saying, but how, when, and why we’re saying it.

This role reports to the Regional Product Publishing Lead APAC, TFT.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, craft, and set the standard for APAC channel strategy and the editorial spine: define the role of each channel across the player journey and codify clear guardrails.
  • Improve channel performance: establish a test-and-learn roadmap; run weekly plan–do–review with market teams; refine timings, placements, and formats; package learnings into playbooks.
  • Own the influencer programme as a channel: define tiers, co-creation toolkits, and an always-on pipeline aligned to the calendar; hold a consistent quality bar.
  • Partner alignment: co-ordinate with market leads and partner publishers so plans reflect local platform norms, policies, and regulatory realities.
  • Be the primary point of contact (POC) for the Global TFT Editor-in-Chief on APAC matters; set APAC positions and align with central teams for coherent planning.
  • Voice, tone & localisation standards: maintain style guides and review loops so everything reads player-first and on-brand in every language.
  • Support and enable local community teams: coach, unblock, and equip them with toolkits and examples; run cadence reviews to lift craft and consistency.
  • Represent APAC community in global forums: advocate for market needs in global planning, issue rooms, and post-mortems—and bring back decisions, context, and next steps.
  • Synthesise player signals (creators, communities, player support) into clear themes and recommended actions; track follow-through with owners.
Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years’ experience in channel strategy and/or community management, shipping multi-platform programmes at regional scale.
  • Intimate knowledge of APAC’s communications landscape, platform innovations, trends, and evolving player expectations.
  • Proven collaborator and team leader across cross-disciplinary groups; able to influence stakeholders without authority across hub, markets, and partners.
  • Excellent communicator (verbal and written): crisp briefs, clear rationales, strong editorial judgement.
  • Deep experience developing and articulating channel strategies that span multiple platforms and delivery channels, with sound localisation and quality standards.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Cultural intelligence: proven instinct for APAC cultural/context cues and the ability to coach non-APAC teams on why certain choices work.
  • Citizen of the internet - you create time to understand what conversations are happening and how we can engage on behalf of our audience

For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise and a collaborative spirit that prioritizes the delight of players. We will look at your past studies and experience, but for this role, we also look for dedicated people with a personal relationship with games. If you embody player empathy and care about players' experiences, this is the role for you!
