This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where the APAC Recruiter will partner closely with function heads regionally and globally to build world-class teams across APAC Monks’. The individual will own the recruitment process for a number of roles across the region including sourcing, pre-screening calls, scheduling and offer negotiations. They will also work with key stakeholders and the APAC recruitment team to identify, implement and support ongoing projects such as process improvement, new policies, tech implementations and employee branding. The APAC recruiter will work across a range of positions from digital media, tech, data and creative.
Responsibilities will include:
- Effectively oversee and manage end to end recruitment of a portfolio of positions across the region
- Engage directly and advise internal stakeholders and on recruitment best practices within market, ensuring hiring managers are consistently educated on internal recruitment processes and feel supported throughout the hiring processes
- Consistent and clear communication with hiring teams throughout recruitment - ensuring they are regularly updated on their roles and candidate progress.
- Identify potential issues and work with the hiring team and/or the recruitment team to resolve any possible concerns that could prevent progress early on
- Proactively and effectively source candidates for difficult to fill roles - advising stakeholders on new sourcing strategies and actioning within a timely manner to ensure appropriate time to fill
- Partner with leadership on defining standard interview processes and strategy and communicate agreed upon protocol to Hiring Managers
- Ad-hoc talent acquisition tasks and responsibilities as needed
- Act as an engaged teammate to others in Talent Discovery - providing support and sharing expertise to ensure a collaborative team culture
- 4+ years of recruitment experience, ideally with at least 2 years in-house
- Experience recruiting similar positions - digital media and/or creative
- Knowledge and experience working across SEA roles required with APAC coverage highly desirable
- Hands on experience with Greenhouse ATS
- Experience training new Recruiters and Hiring Managers on process improvements, policies and new tools is desired
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with acute attention to detail and deliver high-quality work
- Strong oral and written English communication with any additional languages a plus
